Unit 1 Milestone Learning Activity: Choosing a Topic
This week you will choose a general topic for your research and write a potential problem statement. Your final proposal will be evaluative research so when thinking about a topic consider the relationship between two phenomena (people places things) in the field of criminal justice which are of interest to you. It is important to be able to visualize your topic. Abstract and complex phenomena such as corruption or human trafficking may be too complicated for the purpose of this assignment. Keep your topic simple; you will shape this into a more specific topic over the next two units.
