Ancient Egyptian tombs contained art to help the soul transition from Life to Death and to help the deceased navigate the Underworld. Great care was taken to preserve the body for the journey into the Underworld. Compare and contrast modern day examples of burial art to that of the Ancient Egyptians. What are the similarities and what are the differences?
